Customer service

A few weeks ago I was told in an email that I didn't know the difference between customer service provided by a service provider and customer service provided by a store clerk.  It wasn't suggested in a nice manner so it's something I've been mulling off and on for a few weeks.  I knew I would blog about it, but wanted to make sure I wasn't reacting to the tone of the email. I guess for me there really isn't a difference. Be wary of some online BLS courses

Previously I've written about Online CPR courses. They're easy to take, convenient and affordable. My earlier post was about the Online American Heart Association Courses. There has been confusion about them in the past and some clinical providers didn't realize that the online portion was only Part 1 of the course. There is also a Part 2 (or Part 3) which involves a practical skills component. Overall if you follow the guidelines, complete all the required parts, and successfully pass any online or practical tests you will receive your certification. However you have to be rather careful about which online courses you take. Recently I had a nursing educator unfortunately get scammed by an online site promising her a card, which she was able to print her own card at the end of the online course. Do you want to take a course online? It's easy, convenient to schedule, and affordable! However there is a lot of confusion over online CPR and First Aid courses. All American Heart Association courses have a practical skills component to them. The online course alone will not lead to certification or issuance of an American Heart Association CPR or First Aid Card . This is in bold because it is important. In fact since this is confusing I'll even repeat it, the online course alone will not lead to certification or issuance of an American Heart Association CPR or First Aid Card .
